    Sahatwar is well known town of Ballia (UP). A very famous Samadhi of Sri Chain Ram Baba is a holy place of Sahatwar. Sahatwar is well connected by train and road.Sahatwar is very piece full town. Sahatwar has a great history. In 1857 ,Veer Saheed Kuwar Singh fight independent of India and his fight was centered from Saharwar ( Daxin Tola ).Kuwar Singh's grand father belogns to Kinwar Gharana of Sahatwar. During Ashwamedh Yagya by Sri Ram , Lav and Kush catch horse of Sri Ram at Chhitoni which is just 2 KM away from Sahatwar.Some great person of Sahatwar was Late Sri Satyanarayan Singh and late Shri Parbhu Singh. There are lot of temple in Sahatwar, Chainram baba temple, thakur temple, Panch Mandir, Janki Brham baba temple, Palat Baba Temple and Daxin tola Shiv Mandir ( Near House of Late Yogeshwar Singh)
